About me

Since I was a teen, I've been writing stories. Starting from thriller short stories inspired by the tv series CSI with no absolute real knowledge on criminology and other forensic sciences, even less on creative writing and being an adult.

Ellery Queen, Rex Stout and Patricia Cornwell had been my first love; then, fantasy happened, coming in a huge wave thanks to Jackson's The Lord of The Rings. In Italy, book bloggers thrived thanks to the web, some brave enough to translate and trasmit important basics of creative writing from the anglophone communities (mainly american).

So, yeah, I put myself into it, head to toe. In 2014 my first book was published, and in 2015 I opened my own publishing house. In 2020, I had to close it, together with the new bookshop, due to Covid-19 spreading across the world. Then, heartbroken, I've left Italy, where I have never managed to find my space, my role, my hope. I started from scratch in Prague, Czech Republic, rebuilding my own life. I had to cut any connection with my homecountry to be free.

Nevertheless, the wish to keep writing never left me. I just had to choose a more international market, like many other expats. Too far from home, too much of a stranger where you live. Yet here I am, sharing my path back into writing, but through another language. I hope to find new friends here, to connect with other writers that are living the same borderland challenge.

Knock, knock, is anybody there?
